Waterton National Park, Alberta

Waterton National Park
Tucked in the southwestern corner of Alberta is one of the most diverse places in the province - Waterton National Park. Here the prairies meet the foothills and then the peaks of the continental divide creating a fascinating combination of ecosystems. The waters of Waterton Lakes stretch south into Glacier National Park in Montana. Together the two parks create the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park

Spring wild flowers

Lupins in the Spring

In the springtime the park is full of colour with an amazing variety of wildflowers - some of which are found no where else in the province.
