Dark-eyed Junco
Junco hyemalis
Juncos are members of the sparrow family and various races of what is called Dark-eyed Juncos are found across North America. All have black, gray or brown hoods and white lower breast, belly and undertail feathers. They are common visitors at backyard feeders and are survivors of some of the harshest winter conditions.
