Pacific Waterleaf is a perennial herb with small lavender or blue (and sometimes whitish-green) flowers which have five petals and five noticeable stamens and pistols which stick out. It is a west coast plant and enjoys the moist, marine climate. It is also a lover of the shade and can be found in various types of forests.
