Pearly Everlasting, Anaphalis margaritacea
Pearly Everlasting, Anaphalis margaritacea
This perennial herb enjoys generally dry, sunny environments and can be found in dry fields , disturbed areas and roadsides across most of North America. It has thick, white woolly stems topped with a cluster of spherical pearl-white flowers. Standing 30-90 cm (1-3 feet) this is a favourite plant used in dried flower arrangements because the flowers remain intact when they are dried - hence its common name.
