Yellow-legged Meadowhawk, Sympetrum vicinum
The Yellow-legged Meadowhawk is a very common dragonfly found around ponds and marshes across southern Canada and the United States. It grows to about 1.3 in/35 mm long. Its fascinating wings are clear and, as you might have guessed from its common name, its legs are yellow.
