Baja Fairy Duster
Calliandra californica
The Baja Fairy Duster is unique shrub with stunning, bight-red flowers that resemble puffs. They add splashes of vibrant colours in its native home, Baja California, Mexico. This shrub is actually a member of the pea family and produces its seeds in pods. Because of its beauty and long-flowering season you might come across this unique plant being used in desert and even tropical landscapes and gardens.
