Grassland Saxifrage, Saxifraga integrifolia
There are over 400 species of saxifrages which are generally small plants that grow close to the ground. The leaves usually form a rosette from which single stalks grow with with ball shaped clusters of flowers. Grassland Saxifrage is native to western North America, living in a variety of habitats from British Columbia, to Montana and south to California.
