| The beautiful Dune Primrose flowers from February to May in the deserts of the Southwest United States. It is characterized by its four large, white petals which form a sort of saucer shape. The flowers open early in the evening and close in mid-morning. |

| Dune Primroses are spreading bush-like plants which creep across sandy, gravely areas, sometimes spreading as much as a metre across. It has hairy, pale green leaves which are about 4 inches (10 cm) long. |
