Pearly Everlasting, Anaphalis margaritacea
Pearly Everlasting, Anaphalis margaritacea
This perennial herb enjoys generally dry, sunny environments and can be found in dry fields, disturbed areas and roadsides across most of North America. It has thick, white woolly stems topped with a cluster of spherical pearl-white flowers. Standing 30-90 cm (1-3 feet) this is a favourite plant used in dried flower arrangements because the flowers remain intact when they are dried - hence its common name.
