September 2008 - Northern Dune Tansy

Tanacetum camphoratum

The chrysanthemum-like Northern Dune Tansy is a perennial which, as its name suggests, likes the sands of the west coast. The small buttons of yellow flowers are in open clusters on aromatic stems with feather like leaves.
