European Bittersweet, Solanum dulcamara
Originally from Europe, the European Bittersweet is now found in temperate zones of North America. It's a woody perennial vine or shrub that often grows over other vegetation. The blue-violet flowers which represent a shootingstar. It enjoys a wide range of habitat and in some areas has become classified as an invasive weed.
